Our a double room included a mini-bar and a flat-screen TV. The personnel was friendly, doing their best to assist. The hotel was in a great location just off walking paths for what we wanted it for. Found Jimmy's Egg Restaurant 10 minutes walk from the property, dined there.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were normal.

Great view of the castle, perfect for exploring the town and river. Free parking and WiFi, terrace for shopping. Helpful staff and tour desk. A fun adventure overall.
Oh, and let's not forget the lovely surprise of separate beds when I asked for a double. How quaint.

The breakfast was absolutely mind-blowing, with delicious, full-size croissants that left me speechless. The lovely staff constantly replenished the breakfast buffet, and having my own big pot of coffee was a game-changer. The room on the 2nd floor was surprisingly quiet and had a special fire exit ladder beyond the juliet balcony, although it might be a little challenging for those less nimble. The mini bar was a great addition, and the fresh coffee maker was a welcome touch. The floor-standing fan in the room was a lifesaver during the hot weather. Parking was so easy, and the stairs from the carpark made luggage handling a breeze. Guy, the staff member, went above and beyond to help us despite our late arrival. If you're attending the F1 in Belgium, this hidden gem of a hotel and its charming town should not be missed.

Had an amazing Christmas at this hotel! Spacious room with a kingsize bed, large bathroom, and modern shower. The separate toilet, mini-bar, and coffee/tea making facilities were a great touch. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide selection of fresh fruits, yogurts, cheese, ham, sausages. The private entrance and terrace provided a peaceful setting to enjoy the beautiful views of the river. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Although the room was comfortable, it did get a little warm at night with the front door open for fresh air. It would have been nice to have a lounge or bar area inside the hotel, especially during the rainy weather.

Title: Amazing stay with friends, loads of fun!
We had an awesome time at Hotel La Librairie, but if there's one thing that could have made it even more epic, it would be having a fun, lively bar or a nightclub right at the hotel. We love to party, dance, and let loose, and having an on-site venue for that would have been the icing on the cake.

This reasonably priced hotel is centrally located in a very pretty little town. It is very close to the old town and in the center of the city. The hotel backs onto the river, offering a beautiful view. The rooms are clean and of contemporary design, with comfortable beds and good-sized shower rooms. The breakfasts are excellent, with a variety of continental food options. Additionally, the hotel provides free parking, a massive bonus for guests.
There is no proper shower in the rooms, making showering a bit of a pain.
